Counted Cross Stitch.
I am grabbing free cross stitch patterns online like crazy. I am thinking of going back to the hobby. So aside from looking for letterhead printing online, I am all over Pinterest and following links to collect various cross stitch patterns. It just makes me so happy whenever I come across a really nice pattern. Now selecting which one to do first is going to take me a while. And then stitching and finishing it, surely will take me so much longer. Here’s one of my favorite patterns.

Current Obsession.
I am so into these bracelets lately. Too bad I know it will take me a long while to have mine this filled. But at least, that would give me motivation to get serious on my online work again.

Short Getaway.
I think we will have a different destination this summer. I wasn’t so pleased with our usual summer resort anymore thus the change of destination. I just hope that we are able to grab a room with such short notice. Plus we are still looking for dates where we can squeeze that in. I can’t believe it but looking at my calendar, we are quite loaded. I can’t even remember the last time I went to the mall. Hahaha! Good thing I can shop for my yoga pillow at yogadirect and various items online. At least, I can have a bit of retail therapy even at home.

Loves Music.
Sometimes I think DS loves music. Aside from playing with his favorite games/apps, I sometimes notice that DS just “sound trips” with his iPad. I would catch him doing nothing and just listening to the music from his favorite games. He also has this app from which you can compose music and he would listen over and over again to Call Me Maybe. It still is too early to tell and actually order this epiphone electric bass at musicians friend or any instrument. But still I am looking forward to the possibilities.

This should probably explain why I am not so much into vacations.

Yoga.
There was a time that I was seriously thinking about joining a yoga class. I even went online to find dragonfly yoga mats as I was told that they are really good. However, aside from the fact that I am a bit hesitant also as I am not sure if my I can do it, I found out that such classes can be quite expensive. A bit expensive for me, so I have to let go of the thought. For now, I just go walking or jogging every now and then and I am thinking of getting a stationary bike. Maybe when the asthma season is over though as I know I won’t be able to put it too good use right now anyway.

Going To The Dentist.
I will be scheduling my son’s appointment with his dentist in a few months. I am religiously following the ‘visit your dentist twice a year’ rule for my son. I didn’t do that when I was his age. I remembered my parents desperately asking me to go to the dentist, but I was just so scared, I just visited the dentist when I needed to. Good thing, my son is not so scared of the dentist and I am glad that he actually has a fine set of teeth. Though I think there might be a need for him to wear braces when he gets a little older. Anyway, we are not sure about that yet. For now we are just focusing on developing his habit on taking care of his teeth. Extra soft toothbrush is likewise on my list things to get for him. PeriClean toothbrush is said to be very soft, yet very effective in cleaning the teeth. I have always thought the harder the bristles, the better. I guess I was wrong. Anyway, there are also lots more benefits in using this ultra soft toothbrush, like it doesn’t scrape the enamel of the tooth and gums are also not harmed while brushing giving you pink and healthy-looking gums.

Baby Nursery.
A friend of mine recently gave birth. The whole family is so excited for the baby’s arrival as it has been years since they had a baby in the house. My friend has been looking into How to decorate a baby nursery since day one of her pregnancy. She came across unique-baby-gear-ideas.com and she never looked anywhere else. The site is overflowing with baby nursery ideas, room themes and baby gear ideas even. She never thought that they could come up with a really nice room even if they are having a boy. All thanks to the site.

Organized Car.
One organized car made by a mom. If DS would have a been a lot younger (and needed so much stuff with him - milk, snacks, toiletries, toys, books, change of clothes, shoei helmets and stuff even), I would surely make a similar corner in the car. Still this is very helpful for all the moms and maybe dads out there. You have everything you will ever need in there. And each has its own space. So much stuff and yet it looks so neat.
