Tomato Basil Pasta.

I was able to buy fresh basil from the grocery the last time so I cooked pasta with tuyo the other day. I had some leftover pasta from that so I tried cooking tomato basil pasta. It’s simple and I think it’s yummy, too. My boys loved it as well. Normally, the little boy just […]

Yesterday

I was craving for hot chocolate eversince I saw the feature on Tsoko.Nut in US Girls. It reminded me of the hot chocolate with suman we used to have in our hometown somewhere in Laguna. And yesterday my cravings were satisifed. We went to Tsoko.Nut in Shopwise Sucat and had a taste of their tsokolate. […]

Krispy Kreme

{photos by DH. the bite was mine. :D }
We’ve tried it. No, we didn’t stand in line just to get a taste of it. (And we wouldn’t dare wait in line again as what we did when Gonuts Donuts opened.) It was a Saturday and surprisingly, there wasn’t a lot of people in the store. Their donut […]

My Easy Embutido

It’s fried! Because it tastes better when fried. Unfried, it tastes like meat-flavored pudding, or empanada or lasagna. Basta not embutido. Got the recipe from Working Mom magazine. It seemed that I added too many bread slices to the mixture. But the recipe asked for 10 slices, so I added 10 slices. I think the […]

What’s for dinner?

siomai ni mommy
I’ve been trying some steamed recipes after borrowing my bro’s steamer. {Yes, it’s borrowed. Poor me, I don’t have my own steamer yet.}
I’ve tried Del Monte’s Hardinera. Got it from the recipe book given to me by J. It’s much like the embutido, only it is placed in llanera lined with banana leaves. […]

Peborit Ko

My current favorite ice cream. First tried this February of last year. I think this was one of the flavors they offered for Valentine’s. (I know, I shouldn’t be having this as I’m really getting bigger.)
