Sopas.

DS loves sopas. When asked in school what is his favorite food, he replied it was sopas. He enjoys eating the just-cooked plain macaroni noodles more than the actual sopas. I have to set aside one or two servings of the plain noodles for him every time I prepare a pasta-based dish.

Love Ko To.

I love this photo of DS. He didn’t actually pose for this picture though. I was just lucky to be able to capture that look on his face while he is enjoying his rice, white rice that is, at Razon’s. He has been eating brown rice in the house, that’s why he terribly misses his […]

Budgeting.

I always have this list of our monthly expenses. However I never really looked into it until recently. I felt that it’s about time that I focus on our budget, especially now that our son is in school. Sending a kid to school, a preschool at that, can indeed be very costly. How much more […]

The ABC of Life.

This is a good read.
A—Accept
Accept others for who they are and for the choices they’ve made even
if you have difficulty understanding their beliefs, motives, or actions.
B—Break Away
Break away from everything that stands in the way of what you hope
to accomplish with your life.
C—Create
Create a family of friends whom you can share your hopes, dreams,
sorrows, […]

Random.

Less personal posts from me. Real life is quite uneventful, yet busy.
We got new plants for the house. We keep on buying plants and they keep on dying. Why oh why?
I still make it a point though to go online even for a few hours each day. You’ll never when an opportunity […]

First Day High.

A long overdue post. Here are photos taken on my son’s first day of school last June. It has been a month. I haven’t found the time to sort the photos out and upload them to Flickr. I am slowly trying to update my Flickr.
Before leaving. He’s still in his slippers. We made him wear […]

Today.

I tried walking on the treadmill again and stopped after a few minutes. I am still worried that it might trigger an asthma attack. I had one more than a week ago and I am on maintenance right now. My kid is asthmatic as well so I always make it a point to check our […]

His Books.

I had to take a picture of him with his books. He still has some books on our TV stand. We couldn’t fit in all his books on this shelf as the upper shelves hold his toys. We had to give away some books, too since DS isn’t using them anymore. And then I have […]

Latest.

Here’s a latest pic of DS. One of the latest actually as I have a lot of photos, as always. I am just not able to upload all of them to Flickr. This was taken in the bedroom while he was doodling. He is fond of traffic lights and lamp posts, so you will usually […]

Talk About College.

I was watching a show in ANC and the topic was about ways on how to save, as well as preparing for your kids’ education. I was surprised to find out that by the time my kid goes to college, we would be spending more than a million pesos just to send him to school. […]

To Be Nobody.

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting.

To Lose Weight.

That’s one of my goals. I have been trying real hard to do some exercises a few weeks back but then I had to stop as I had an asthma attack. I really wanted to get back on my routine but maybe in a few more days. Or maybe I can try Liporexall as some […]
