Friday Fun: The Blog Edition.
1. What different blog formats have you used (i.e. Blogger, LiveJournal, WordPress, your own HTML, etc.? Which did you like the best?
~ I have used Blogger and Wordpress. I like Wordpress better as I find it easier to use and has more features and options. I haven’t seen Blogger since I switched to WP so I am not sure if it has nicer features now.
2. How did you get into blogging? How long have you had a blog?
~ I have been blogging on and off since 2004 or 2005. I got into blogging since most of my online pals maintain their own blogs.
3. Why do you blog?
~ Before, it was just for documenting little stories on life. Now I am happy to say that I get to earn something from it.
4. Do you have theme blog (i.e. crafting, cooking, deployment, pregnancy, etc.) or is it all in one?
~ I do have several blogs with different themes. This one’s about the family. I have one for my scrapbooking {http://alphadf.com/}, for the home {http://suburbanbeats.net/} and for my photography {http://alphaflores.com/}.
5. Do you let it all hang out on your blog, or do you keep it light?
~ I do keep it light. I don’t share everything. I only write what I am comfortable sharing.
6. What is your favorite thing about your blog? What has it given you?
~ I was able to meet new friends, keep in touch with old friends, and I get to make some money, too.
