Several websites on the internet provide latest info about advanced canon camera and casio digital cameras. So you don’t to have a market survey before purchasing a digital camera. You can compare b/w the prices and specs of minolta digital cameras and pentax digital cameras, online.
Anyway, we just got home a few hours ago. We went to visit my parents’ grave somewhere in Laguna. We then went to the municipal hall to pay the realty tax of our tiny piece of land there. We had late lunch at the Exotic Restaurant in Longos (I think) Laguna. Can you guess what we ate? Hehehe.. It’s crispy pata once again, with pancit hab-hab. On the way home, we passed by this house with many hanging Santas. It’s just a little past the Exotic Restaurant. I couldn’t resist so I had to stop and check it out. And yes, they’re selling the hanging Santas, and for a cheaper price. The paper mache (and not water-proof) Santas have much lower price compared to the water-proof ones. Water-proof Santas go for 1,000 pesos up. Though I think this is still much cheaper compared to those sold in Manila. But of course I just settled for the non-water-proof ones. I got a big enough climbing Santa for 250 pesos, two smaller Santas climbing in one rope for 200 pesos and one smaller Santa in a parachute for 150 pesos. Yup, it’s that cheap. They say the price doubles when sold in Manila. I wanted to buy those standing Santas and those in rocking chairs but I worry that my little boy will just wrestle with them so decided not to. 
I wasn’t able to stop by Step-rite, a shoe store in Pagsanjan, because it was already late. As I spent too much time choosing which Santa to buy, the husband thought I was buying all of them. I will share our pics later.

sigh, i don’t know why but after reading this post, i suddenly missed xmases in Manila. my mom was watching TV patrol yesterday and i heard xmas songs in the background — i “felt” the season of xmas, if even for a split second.
i can be such a hater sometimes, but i really miss being in the PI.

parang naiimagine ko yun mga santas with your post, hehe… oo mahal nga yan sa Manila, baka hindi lang doble, triple pa. San yan sa laguna Alpha? sabihan ko sister ko para maiba naman un xmas decor sa haus nila mommy… hehe… can’t wait for the photos.
