I started blogging more than two years ago. And if my memory serves me right, this is my 4th blog already. I do enjoy blogging, but usually it’s an on-off thing for me. I tend to get lazy or I just simply don’t have the energy to blog. Then I heard about how to get paid for blogging from my online pals. It took me a while to decide if I’m going to do it or not. But since I’m almost always in front of the computer, I might as well make my computer time productive and get paid to blog, too. So I signed up with Smorty. Smorty serves as a link between bloggers and advertisers. Since blogging is popular nowadays, companies choose to advertise on blogs. Blog advertising gives the companies opportunity to promote their products and services, and it also increases inbound links to their sites. Bloggers, on the other hand, get paid to write their opinions on their blogs about a certain product or service, providing links back to the advertiser’s site. Now I don’t just blog for my own personal enjoyment. I now also blog for money.
