Fort Santiago

After a visit to St. Jude this morning, we brought Estong to Intramuros for his first educational tour. :D
We first had our lunch at Max’s Intramuros.

~crispy pata bites, kare-kare, ube decadence~

We then went around Intramuros. Passed by J’s alma mater, Mapua, and my dear alma mater, PLM. Iskolar ako!

~no parking pala, kaya pala tinitingnan kami ng guards, ;D~

After that, off we went to our main destination, Fort Santiago.

First stop is the Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel. It’s a charming, little chapel located near the golf course. It only has 8 pews, 4 on each side. You will pass by a tunnel to get to the chapel. I first saw it when we were looking around Intramuros while planning our wedding. I even thought of getting married there. It’s so quaint and intimate.

We then went around Fort Santiago.

~ang laki ng bala!~

~sige na anak, silip ka na, pagod na si daddy~

~ang init!~

~pahinga muna ako~

We brought Estong inside the museum but didn’t finish all the display since J was so tired either carrying or running after Estong. The guard even stopped us while exiting through the entrance. But when I told them that we cannot carry Estong anymore upstairs to finish all the display, he allowed us to pass by the entrance. :D
After a quick rest, we left Fort Santiago and went to Paco Park. However, when we reached the park, little boy was already sleeping. Next time na lang, sa next leg ng kanyang educational tour, sa Luneta.

Went to Becky’s for my brownies to wrap up our tour.
